After a full 10 days off from work where I spent time with the family enjoying vacation in Orlando FL, it’s time to get back at things! While in Florida, I put in A LOT of steps and I did manage to get in a few workouts. However, I used the time away to reset and allow my body to recover a bit from heavy weightlifting.
Waking up this AM was a bit of a struggle, but when you have goals that you are trying to accomplish, you find a way to overcome your excuses.
You may find that too often you let your excuses get the better of you and as a result, you aren’t seeing any progress towards the goals that you have set for yourself. Starting today, I want you to DROP THE EXCUSES! The next time you find yourself saying things like; “yeah, but…”, “I wish I could…”, or “If only I had…” – I want you to flip that excuse in a way that takes it from a statement of impossible to a statement of possibility.
Example: “I’m not strong enough to do 10 push-ups in a row.” – “I want to improve my strength so that I can do more push-ups!”
