Hey everyone, it’s Monday – time for a little bit of motivation!
The official start of summer is a little more than 100 days away and for me that means it’s time to start shedding a little bit of this winter fluff I’ve got going on… I’ll be enjoying Orange Beach along the shores of the Gulf of Mexico with the family in 100 days, so I want to look and feel my best during my vacation.
With that in mind, today I am starting to get more disciplined in my nutrition than I have been for the past year or so, which means I am going to start tracking my food intake more consistently and maintain a caloric deficit using carb cycling. This will allow me to maintain as much lean muscle mass as possible, while cutting body fat through energy balance principles.
I am also starting to follow the workout program/schedule that I created a leading up to a physique competition a couple of years ago. If you are interested in following along, you can check out the 10-Week Workout Training Plan I will be using here:

You will never be ready!
The biggest problem people have in life is that they think they are not ready. They always wait for the perfect moment and that moment never comes. What does it mean to be ready? How do you know if you are ready? How do you know if it’s the right time to follow your dreams? Here is my answer – you will never be ready, there is no such thing as being ready. Even if you’re prepared yourself as much as you can, life will always surprise you. The right question is not if you are ready, because you will never be. The question is are you willing!
