I’ve said this many times in the past and truly believe that there is a BIG difference between having defined abs and having strong abs. Defined abs are typically the result of consistent nutrition and low body fat (sub 10%). However, in order to develop a stronger core you need to work your abs just like any other muscle group!
7 Exercises to get Stronger Abs
Your core should be constantly engaged with your normal resistance routines. Actually, the same can be said with your cardio routines. This being the case, you don’t really need a lot of extra core work when performed after your normal routine.
I’ve put together a video below of 7 different exercises that will allow you to really develop strong abs and sculpt your core properly. This routine pretty hit hits all angle of your core and even tests the endurance of your core.
Here is the breakdown of the different exercises for this ab workout.
