My Body Beast Results – Day 60
Today marks day 60 of the Body Beast program for me and I just wanted put together a quick post about how I felt about the program and share my results to date. I did put together a review of the program after 30 days, so I will try to cover both phase a little bit here.
I was using the HUGE BEAST schedule which is broken into 3 phases.
Phase 1; the BUILD Phase is 3 weeks in length and follows a 6 days on and 1 day off schedule for workout. The rest/off day differed each week.
Phase 2; the BULK Phase is 6 weeks in length and again follows the same 6 days on and 1 day off schedule. I ended up cutting the BULK phase short by about 6 days. My reasons for this were the following; I had begun to plateau towards the end of week 4 and then decided that an extra 10 days of the final phase to cut excess body fat gained would be desirable.
Phase 3: the BEAST Phase is 3 weeks in length and just like the first two follows the 6 days on and 1 day off schedule. As I mentioned, I ended up moving into this 3rd and final phase about 10 days early. I suppose it could be argued that I could have kept the schedule as it was laid out and just extended the BEAST phase, but I didn’t want to pro-long phase 2 since I could tell I was starting to plateau and have it possibly affect my overall body beast results.

Body Beast Results
Here are the raw numbers…
Day 1 – 156 lbs, 5.69% Body Fat – 3000 cals/day
Day 30 – 167 lbs, 6.81% Body Fat – 3200 cals/day
Day 60 – 170 lbs, 7.17% Body Fat – 2500 cals/day
As you can see from the numbers above, I was able to add some weight and only marginally increase my body fat %. I was already prepared for this ahead of time, the increase in body fat. I had read many article about bulk programs, such as Body Beast, that in order to gain weight, you will also have to accept the addition of some body fat. However, the majority of the weight that was gained was lean muscle mass, which is a good thing and helped to contribute to the body beast results to date.
I would also note that my strength increased pretty significantly. I track all of the reps and weights using worksheets that accompany each routine, so I can see how I have been able to increase the amount of weight I have been using each and every week. YOU HAVE TO TRACK YOUR PROGRESS GUYS!

Supplements Used to get my Body Beast Results
Since this program is a bit different than other programs that I have taken on in the past, I decided to try some new supplements. Nothing too unusual, just new for me. I posted an article that has a detailed list of all of those supplements as well as a video where I describe each and how I am using them. The list also includes links to where they can be purchased, if you so choose. Check out my Body Beast supplement stack article here: Body Beast Supplement Stack
Summary
Body Beast has been a great program! I am seeing great gains in both strength and size. For a hard gainer like myself, I think that this is due to a couple of factors. 1.) I am learning more about how my body functions and what I need to make things change. Nutritional intake has a been a big part of this. I was previously doing well, but not at the level I needed to get the body beast results I have gotten to date. 2.) The style of lifting isn’t like any other program that I have previously done. While the concepts and specific exercises are not new, they were somewhat new to me. My body has responded well and I think that if you follow the plan provided and give it everything that you have, you can see similar body beast results that I have. I am pretty happy with my body beast results thus far and am excited to see how the next 30 days treat me.
