This week I started my P90X2/Insanity: The Asylum hybrid! Man what a week! I have done a few a of the original Insanity routines in the past, but never a full 60 days. The Asylum program is based on a lot of the same cardio moves that are featured in Insanity, but with focus on sport performance. Needless to say, cardio is not my favorite type of workout, but so far, I do really like how they aren’t ALL just cardio. Agility and strength are also incorporated into the routines. Stay tuned for additional updates on this journey.
This week was also my daughter’s 8th birthday! She was pretty excited the entire week as we try and make it a week that who’s ever birthday it is that week, they get to make some of the little day-to-day decisions in our household. Simple stuff like, what’s for dinner, or what game should we play this evening, etc… I think she ended up having a good week! Happy Birthday Makayla!
And in case you were wondering….NO, I did NOT have any cake or ice cream!
Plan For Success – Meal Preparation
Do you find it hard to stay on track during the week due to improper meal planning? I have fallen victim to this from time to time. I recently posted an article that will give you some tips on how to get out in front of that problem and make sure that you are stuck with making poor nutrition choices throughout the week.
Here is the intro to the article:
“Here’s the key to remember and what I think most people who struggle getting and staying on board don’t realize:
It may seem easier to just “eat whatever” instead of planning and prepping your meals and sticking to an exercise program. But, that is just an illusion. When you eat at odd hours, skip meals, eat like crap (excuse the expression), skip workouts or don’t work out at all, you wind up feeling like crap and you may end up feeling that life is out of control.”
SUCCESS STORIES – Let’s hear them!
For those that are interested…I want to hear about your success! Send me an email with anything about your story that you would be willing to share along with any photos that show off your results. With your permission, I’ll post it on my site and you can get the recognition that you deserve! Send your story to me, email@example.com.
Let’s help others and pay it forward!
How many of you have/know someone that you think would benefit from being a part of this group? We all probably know SOMEONE that may be struggling with health and fitness.
Who do you know that has high cholesterol, blood pressure issues or blood sugar problems? Do you know someone that needs to lose weight, tone up or gain weight?
If you think you know someone, even if it is just one person, let me know and let’s get them plugged in. A little friendly competition is always beneficial to those involved.
Got a question?
I also wanted to make sure that everyone on my team is aware that I am here for YOU! If you have ANY questions related to health and fitness, don’t hesitate to contact me directly either on Facebook or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). I am always willing to provide feedback and suggestions on ways that you can get the results that you are after.
And 2 favors that I ask:
1) If you like the hard work I put into writing my articles and videos, PLEASE help me out by sharing them. Click the share links below them and share them on FB, twitter, etc. It really helps me get more exposure and grow our team!
2) Also, as always, remember that the way I benefit from being your coach is that I earn a commission from any Beachbody products that you purchase, as long as you buy them through my site, www.yourfitnesspath.com, or by logging in to www.teambeachbody.com to do your shopping (If you buy from the plain beachbody site I get no credit). It helps with the amount of time I spend answering all your questions and helping you out.
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
Keep bringing it and inspiring others to do the same gang!!
