For all of the team members located in the Midwest, are you guys staying warm enough…? SHEESH! It’s been one of the coldest winters that I can recall in recent years. Our kiddos have had more school closings and 2-hour delays since they’ve been in school.
Block 1 of P90X3 is DONE! On to Block 2! If you have looked at the P90X3 Calendar, you will notice that the type of workouts change in Block 2, they are more resistance focused. Of course there is still some cardio/core work involved, but with Block 2 you are using more than just your body weight, so I am really looking forward to getting started.

Remember how I always tell you to use events with specific dates to set your goals. Well…I’ve done just that. On June 7th, I’ll be participating in a ToughMudder. Not only that, but I’ll being doing so with a group that has been interacting online for the past couple of years. Some of them I’ve met in person, while others I haven’t. However, we have all been such a supportive group for each other that we have all become good friends and wanted to do something like this as a team, outside of the digital space we typically occupy.
This is what the Challenge Group concept can bring to the table! It may just start with some small, simple group of people that through the camaraderie that is established with each day you all progress through a 90 day fitness program. You begin to rely on each other, become motivated by each other’s efforts and genuinely care about them and their successes – both within the group and just in life!
You don’t have to commit yourself to a mud race like I have, you just simply need to make the commitment to yourself that you are going to do something and ensure that nothing is going to prevent you from reaching your goal! Find an event that will challenge you, register, sign-up or do whatever is necessary to put some skin in the game and just make it happen!

Additional details about the newest Beachbody fitness program were announced last week. 1. You Design Your Life Plan, Not Others
The only person who truly has to live with your choices is you, so why would you let the influence of others shape your character? You are the architect, engineer and builder when it comes to your life, so there’s no need to outsource.
2. Don’t Let Yesterday Derail Today
You’re going to have bad days, but you must not let them infiltrate your good ones. Instead of focusing on the mistakes from yesterday concentrate on what’s going right today so that you will succeed tomorrow.
3. Take a Habit Inventory
Take a few minutes to write out all the habits you participate in daily, both good and bad. Once you have an understanding of these then you can decide which to keep and which to purge.
4. There’s No Need to Understand
Spending time trying to understand why you are a certain way only serves as a method of procrastination. Instead ignore the whys and take action.
5. Set Deadlines
You work hard daily to get closer to accomplishing your goals, but some items on your agenda always seem to fall to the wayside. Give yourself deadlines to get that extra push you need to follow through. Procrastination has its own end point when you force yourself to follow through.
